WW Kirri Reviews Coming In

WW Kirri paddles are starting to show up on the rivers in the hands of those who were patient enough to wait for our production issues to be sorted. Awesome reviews as expected. We are slowly getting caught up on the back orders and again wish to thank everyone who has been waiting on pre-order for one of these. Check out the blog for more info.

Incapacitated for the past few months.

Many of you have probably noticed a complete lack of activity at CORE for a while now. This was not planned on my part but was rather the result of a severe chest infection that lasted almost 7 months. Turned out I had contracted a rather virulent pneumonia and could not shake it due to being run down. But that does not mean I haven't been at least thinking about all of the cool stuff to come for 2012.

Over the next month we will be making some major anouncements in regards to new product, new people and a whole new work direction at CORE. During my illness I came to the realization that I could not do everything on my own. I need to put people in place to handle many of the tasks that were dropped when I went AWOL. This needs to be first priority and I have been working on addresing this with some major revisions here.

In the coming 4 - 8 weeks we will be kicking off production for the 2012 season. Starting first with Kirri series paddles and then moving on to a brand new Batto series blade design. Yes, we have tweaked the design of the entire Batto series due to some molding issues we experienced over the 2011 season. More details will be coming shortly.

To everyone who wished me well over the past few months I wanted to send a note out to say thanks... : ) Even though I was not able to respond right away the gestures were very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Steve Horvath

New website launched.

Welcome to CORE Paddles.

After many months of teasing we have finally finished the base of the new CORE Paddles website. Take a look through the site and check out everything CORE.

We are still a bit out from full production ( March, 2011 ) but all of the paddle details are now listed so people can view the new product line in it's entirety. There is also a complete technological background for CORE giving everyone an overview of the design details, Easton shafting and history behind the brand and it's development.

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone that has been following CORE since we started discussing the new line on both the CORE Blog and Facebook pages. It has
been an immense amount of work getting here but the response to the new brand, and paddles, has been incredible. With the launch of the website we have also implemented a pre-order system ( active Feb 4th ) to allow you to book your CORE Paddle in advance of production commencement in March, 2011. Just click on the link here ( active Feb 4th ) , or from the paddle page, and fill out the particulars. We will contact you prior to production to finalize your order. You will be one of the first to get a revolutionary new paddle from CORE.

Also, please note that we will continue to add CORE Blog and Facebook updates as we get production ready for the 2011 season. For those of you that are interested in the background behind CORE you can view the history of the development on the CORE Blog. Also note that some info. is still on going and items such as production photos
and new dealers will be added as info. comes available.

So a big hearty thank you to everyone who has checked out the new site.

Cheers,

Awesome Steve!!

Sweet

Im sure its worth the wait ;-)

I have enjoyed using H2o paddles for the past 5 years, it was terrible when unfortunatly the company went under, but now it is great news that Steve Horvath has been working hard to creat a new paddle which will im sure be AWESOME!!!

Looks like the piggy bank is gonna get raided after looking at these, similar to paddle i am using just now but updated, thanks to Bryon Rickets for the conversation whilst paddling in Scotland.

WooHoo!!!!

Hello! I am a BC paddlesports retailer and I would love some more info on your paddle, looks siick!

SAWEEEET Steve thats great!! Cant wait to hit the winter water with em!!

Thanks for making big grips! I really miss the large grips of the old Waterstick WW paddles.

I really like the new design. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing your new paddles soon!

Happy holidays everyone. Off to see the family : )

psyched for the paddles! would be nice to have a Core Canoe paddle to take to Mexico end of Feb.

Hey Steve, I'm trying to get my local dealer to contact you about bringing in CORE to his shop???? At the very least I would like to try a Whitewater

Way cool mon, sounds so trekish. Years ago I took Industrial Design at Humber College and that was an incredible trip as well, like designing a bridge out of toothpick like wood to support a brick. And yes, I made it work, it can be done. Good Work Steve!

Quote from Anthony Yapp on the China Expedition... "This is definitely the best paddle I've ever
used.." : ) Full quote added to the latest blog post.

Cant wait to get one on the water ;-)

Just finished a full photo session for the new CORE Paddles. Thought I
would give everyone a quick peak at what's coming... : ) Wet you CORE
appetite here....

But I need a paddle now. My poor H20 is about dead.
Hmmm.....

So cool!!
